Access keys
Access keys are keyboard shortcuts which allow you to navigate
around a website without having to use a mouse or other pointing
device.
On the Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust website we
have used the UK
government access key standard on the most commonly used links and
help features as listed below:
- s = Skip Navigation
- 1 = Home
- 2 = Patients & visitors
- 3 = Our services
- 4 = Search
- 5 = Help
- 6 = Contact us
- 7 = Terms and conditions
- 0 = Access Keys (this page)
How you use the access keys depends on whether you have a
PC or an Apple Mac,
and also on which browser you have. See below for various
combinations.
- Alt + [the accesskey]
- Internet Explorer for Windows
- Goole Chrome for Windows
- Shift + Alt + [the accesskey]
- Ctrl + Alt + [the accesskey]
- Safari 1.2 (Mac only)
- Google Chrome for Mac
- Mozilla for Mac
