‘Make the right decision’ this bank holiday weekend

Getting the right care in the right place over the bank holiday weekend and ‘making the right decision’ will not just help local NHS services but also you get the care you need more quickly.

The below graphic explains the correct places to go if you are ill or require medical attention.

Make the right decision

Dorset has a number of services across the county that are there to help you if you become hurt or unwell. These range from your local pharmacy for headaches, coughs and colds, to your local minor injuries unit or urgent care centre for sprains, strains and other non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses.

The opening times of minor injuries units are below:

The StayWell Dorset website has a helpful guide to support you in finding the right service for your needs. If you are not sure where to go or need advice, call NHS 111, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
