Strong performance in CQC assessment

Poole Hospital seen from Poole ParkPoole Hospital has once again been placed in the highest banding of hospital trusts (band six) in the Care Quality Commission's (CQC) Intelligent Monitoring Report, released last week.

The CQC assesses trusts on a risk basis, with those in the top band, six, deemed the very lowest risk, and those in the lowest band, one, viewed as the highest risk. The assessment looks at 150 indicators

Tracey Nutter, director of nursing, said: “I am very pleased that we have remained in band 6 with the CQC Intelligent monitoring report. This speaks volumes about the commitment of our hard-working staff in providing high quality, responsive care to our patients.
