Laryngology (voice, airway & swallow)

What is Laryngology?

Laryngology is a subspecialty of Ear, nose and throat (ENT) that deals with disorders of the voice, the upper airway and swallowing.Vocal cords

Being able to speak, breathe and swallow without difficulty is fundamental to our quality of life. These basic functions are held in a fragile balance by the complex structure of the throat and preservation and restoration of function often requires specialist expertise.

The specialty of Laryngology has advanced rapidly in the UK in the last decade and we are proud to be able to offer a first class, cutting edge service here at Poole.
