Getting Home

If you do not have a family member or friends that can drive you home, we are able to help you order a taxi but do not cover the costs. This means having enough money with you to pay for the taxi. It is useful to have somebody on ‘standby’ to collect you as transport can be a big factor in delaying going home.

Travel Expenses

If you receive Income Support, Working Tax Credit and/or Child Tax Credit or Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, you may be able to reclaim your travel costs. You will need to show your benefit book and any tickets at the Travel Claims office. Please ask for directions at the reception desk (Entrance 10). Find where on the Poole Hospital site plan.
