New chairman is appointed at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Angela Schofield has been appointed as Chairman of Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
We are pleased to announce that Angela Schofield has been appointed as Chairman of Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust at a public meeting of the Council of Governors.
Angela brings a wealth of experience in healthcare to the role. She joins Poole Hospital after almost five years as Chairman of NHS Bournemouth and Poole. She has previously been Chief Executive of an NHS Trust and until 2006 was Head of Bournemouth University’s Institute of Health & Community Studies.
Angela joined Poole Hospital on Tuesday 17 May, taking over from Dame Yvonne Moores, who has expertly led the Hospital’s Board and Council of Governors as Interim Chairman since December 2010. Dame Yvonne will continue in her role of Vice Chairman of the Board following Angela’s appointment.
