Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

St Patrick's Day quiz in aid of Poole Hospital dementia project

A special charity quiz will take place on Thursday 17 March – St Patrick’s Day – in aid of Dignity in Dementia. The quiz will be held at 7.30pm at the Britannia Inn in Lower Parkstone, with tickets priced at £5 or £8 including food.

Prizes will be on offer for winning (and losing) teams, and there will also be a raffle on the night with a range of prizes up for grabs.

Dignity in Dementia is an innovative project to help patients with dementia at Poole Hospital. The project will fund the refurbishment of one of the hospital’s elderly care wards, with the aim of helping patients’ orientation, aiding recollection and supporting independence.

All proceeds from the quiz will go towards the Dignity in Dementia appeal, which is managed by the Poole Hospital Charity.

To buy tickets, call Poole Hospital’s Fundraising Office on 01202 448449 or email fundraising@poole.nhs.uk. Alternatively, tickets are available directly from the pub, which is located on Britannia Road in Lower Parkstone.
