Volunteering


Our volunteers play a vital role in our fundraising. Volunteering is a great way to meet new friends, new a new skill and enhance your CV. We need volunteers to help in the gift shop, the book shop and in the fundraising office. If you can spare a couple of hours every week or month let us know. Poole Hospital Charity would like to give you the opportunity to support Poole Hospital and it won’t cost you a penny! Start donating commission from your online shopping at no extra cost to you! We are registered with two on-line shopping destinations:

Log-on to www.easyfundraising.org.uk and choose Poole Hospital Charity.

You can purchase a wide range of goods on-line from a host of well known retailers which generates a donation to Poole Hospital Charity. Every time a purchase is made commission generated which will be donated to us at no cost to you. The online prices are exactly the same as if you had shopped directly with the retailer and there will be many exclusive online offers.

Recycling

Go green and raise funds for Poole Hospital Charity.

We recycle toner cartridges and mobile phones with www.wiserecycling.co. You can either:

Drop your used cartridges or phones into the fundraising office or one of the boxes located in outpatients, IT and maternity or

Pick up a freepost envelope and post directly to wise recycling.

Contact the fundraising team if you would like an recycling box or some envelopes at your office.

Books, Books, Books

Donate books or purchase more books from our Bookshop, located in The Dome at Poole Hospital. All books are sold for just £1.

We always need more books to sell so if you are having a clear out bring your books to us.
