Guidelines and advice for fundraising
The fantastic commitment and achievements of local people including patients, staff, relatives and friends allows Poole Hospital to purchase the additional state of the art equipment and extras that can make all the difference to both patients and staff.
If you would like to hold a fundraising event, take part in a sponsored event or raise money on behalf of the Wish List please contact us on 01202 448449 or email fundraising@poole.nhs.uk
The Fundraising Team will issue you with a fundraising authoisation document. We ask that you complete this document and return it to the Fundraising Team at your earliest convenience. We will send you a photcopy to keep for your records.
We can provide you with a guide to fundraising on request. This goes into greater detail about raffles and lotteries, printed material, collection boxes, sponsored events, insurance, publicity guidelines and licences.
Helpful advice
We would be happy to provide advice on publicising your fundraising event or activities the media and have many useful contacts.
When you are ready to hand over the proceeds of the event you could either:
- Send a cheque direct to the Fundraising Team, or
- Arrange a presentation with us and the staff on the unit you have raised money for
